Congratulations to our Carpentry Apprentice, Charlie, who has been selected to represent Shrewsbury Colleges Group in Carpentry at the upcoming SkillBuild Regional Qualifiers!

Charlie is pictured here alongside his Tutor and Shrewsbury Colleges Group’s Curriculum Director of Construction and Trades, Stuart Raine, as well as Allan Barrett, his Assessor and Curriculum Manager of Apprenticeships.

He will be heading to Dudley to take part in the Regional Qualifiers of SkillBuild – the UK’s largest and longest-running multi-trade competition for construction trainees and apprentices. Running for over 40 years, SkillBuild challenges competitors on their technical skill, time management, character, and overall dedication to their trade.
