The Shingler Group was founded by Keith and Jeremy Shingler over 25 years ago, with Jonathan, Jeremy’s brother, joining them in the business in 2001. After being “on the tools” for many years Jeremy and Jonathan now work from the Hillcrest Works Headquarters based in Myddle, Shrewsbury working as Managing Director and Construction Director respectively. Keith is a Director, but is still very much on the ground with organising construction teams for both areas of the business. The Shingler Group comprises Shingler Homes, which focuses on house building and Shingler Construction which primarily undertakes contract builds for private clients.  Shingler Group employs over 130 people from our headquarters, and across our construction sites, including sub-contractors.

As Shingler Homes is a family owned and run business our Directors have a hands-on approach to ensure that only skilled craftspeople using superior quality products construct every one of our new properties to the highest standards possible.  New homeowners are assured that attention to detail and quality is of paramount importance, supported by an excellent level of customer service from the beginning of your house purchase journey and onwards with our aftercare service.

At Shingler Homes we specialise in smaller, bespoke housing developments. Each development has different and new house types to create a unique site, and all of our developments are sympathetic to the area that we are building in, as we tend to build in rural or village locations. We spend a lot of time researching the areas to ensure that we are creating the best product. As we are a small company we are able to work closely with the purchaser to ensure that they are part of the build process throughout, and are able to put their own choices into the property such as kitchens and tiles.

Shingler Construction is the other half of the business which specialises in bespoke, contract builds for clients in the private residential, commercial and retail sector. Our team also has the expertise to give advice on planning and development, carry out cost appraisals to ensure the project viability as well as offering project management services and sales and marketing advice. This means you have a one stop shop, for all your queries, with the benefit of ensuring everything is being serviced under one roof.
