200 guests attended our Charity Ball and Auction held at the Albrighton Hall Hotel in July, helping us to celebrate 21 years in the industry! A fabulous evening was had by all and we are proud to have raised such a considerable sum to support two worthy local charities.
In total £5577.91 was raised and was equally divided between Hope House Hospice and Severn Hospice. Keith and Jeremy Shingler are very pleased with the amount raised for such worthy causes. "On behalf of everyone at Severn Hospice I would like to say how grateful we are for your very generous donation of £2,806.45 raised from your recent charity ball. This quote from one our patients says everything we would like to say: "When people give to the hospice it is hard to convey the difference it makes. I want people to know the intensity of what happens here, the difference they make and the living joy there is at the hospice. I believe that the concrete laid as the foundations of the Hospice was made with genuine love from all those who have raised the money to make it a reality. Today nothing scares me, not even cancer and I want to thank everyone for all the generous love I have here at the Hospice" - Maureen We rely on fundraising events like yours and gifts in people's wills for the majority of our income. February 2010 - 21st Anniversary Charity Ball - July 16th 2010SHINGLER GROUP are proud to present a Charity Ball & Auction at Albrighton Hall, Shrewsbury on Friday 16th July 2010 as part of their 21st Anniversary celebrations, with all proceeds to be donated to Severn Hospice and Hope House.The Charity Dinner will include a specially selected 3 course meal with entertainment throughout the evening with exclusive DJ Mark Reece and the exceptional dance band Soul Party.
